Level 2 Assessment

UKCC Level 2 Assessment

The purpose of this award is to provide a qualification for those wishing to introduce others to Canoeing on simple waters (or equivolent very sheltered coastal areas).

Completion of this award is an indication of a level of competence for introducing groups (normally up to 8 people) to the standard of the BCU 2 Star test.

Course dates

Most courses can be arranged at dates suitable to your needs. Please contact Tom if you require further information.

Price

-For two people the price is £80 each.
-For three people the price can be reduced to £70 each.

-For four or more people the price can be reduced to £60 each.
-Plus £17.50 BCU fee.

Please note: You will need to provide your own food.

How to make a booking

If you would like to book a place on this course then please, either fill out the booking form on line or print out the boking form and post it to us at the address provided on the booking form.

Pre-requirements

Minimum age: 18
Successful completion of the Level 2 Training Course.
Current, comprehensive membership of the BCU.
Current First Aid Certificate.
Up to date log book.
Originals of all certificates.

Syllabus and BCU C1 Form

BCU Level 2 Canoe Assessment syllabus
You must bring your C1and blank C2, which you should have recieved back from the BCU after your training course. For the C1 form to be valid it must have a date stamp in the Assessment box (bottm right). The form is only valid for 3 years from the stamped date .
