About Canoe Coaching
About Tom Sibbald
Exciting news is that Anna and I are getting married in May, Canoe Coaching will grow and change as it becomes our dream and adventure. Find out more about Anna in the team pages.
I first paddled a canoe in New Zealand, 3 days in the huge rock bounded gorge of the Wanganui River. It rained all day every day, the water rose 9 feet one night. I loved it, I wass hooked. Canoeing captures my passion and dreams for adventure in the outdoors. A little to my surprise I also discovered that sharing canoeing with others is as inspiring. Canoe Coaching, this site and my buisness feels like part of a fantastic journey I have accidently stumbled upon. I love it.
The values I choose, and my Christian belief, are central to the way I coach, and to the expectations you and I will set. For me there is little to beat the absolute delight felt as those goals are conquered. One of the exciting parts of sharing the most beautiful places in the outdoors with others is that often little is said but much of significance has happened.
Canoe Coaching is not just me, it is my dream but there is a team. My criteria is simple; do my team love what they can do by canoe? Do they get a buzz from sharing it? The team is excellent and you can meet them on the staff page.
Canoe Coaching has been based in the Lake District and is moving to Aberfeldy, but just like Canoes, it travels. We can come to you or we can go together into an adventure of your choice.
